Took a while but problem was resolved.
I had some trouble logging into the mobile app. I called customer service and was told to try from my computer. I did but still a problem. I was trying to reset my password because biometrics had expired. I wasn’t getting the authentication number at all. A notification said you were having technical difficulties so I waited a couple days and everything was working. Annoying but resolved.

MetPet is better than my healthcare plan. Our cat has a heart issue and requires many follow up visits. MetPet makes filing claims simple and efficient! Claims are paid out very quickly through Zelle at 90% reimbursement. Amazing pet plan!!!!!

So happy we decided to purchase pet insurance for our 3 kitties. I will always recommend it to pet owners as it has saved us a lot of money for unexpected vet visits. We decided on the 90% coverage and happy with our choice.

Quality service
Overall the MetLife pet insurance is fantastic. They review claims quickly and disburse payments in a timely manner. I do like that the claim forms are pre filled out with my information and my dogs insurance policy number. An opportunity to improve the experience on the customer end would be to find a way to integrate the claim form into the app, so that I don't need to fill this out by hand and attach a picture along with the receipts from the vet, but this is by no means a reason to lower the star rating. I have and would continue to recommend MetLife to anyone looking for insurance for their pets.
