It took too long to get through to speak with someone. I’ve had this insurance over 3 years and I never incurred this much trouble trying to get reimbursement. I wouldn’t recommend this insurance

Precertified and yet claim refused!
After getting a precertification approved from Embrace for a tooth extraction for my dog (he broke a tooth, and it was dangerous to leave the broken tooth, so it had to be removed), Embrace has not reimbursed the proper amount. This is after sending the recertification, getting it approved, and calling them three times to confirm it is covered! It's clear they don't want to honor what they approved. Shame of you, Embrace, for screwing pet owners while still charging us a fat amount every month.

Insurance...never know until you need them
I've had Embrace Pet Insurance for years and I've never made a claim until recently. It's a known fact that you really can't say how good an insurance company is until you actually need them and you have to make a claim. I had months worth of arthritis shots to claim for my Golden who is now 9-years old and needs injections monthly. I submitted 7 of them and the whole process was fast and easy. Within days I had checks in the mail and I can say that Embrace is a great insurance company.

Professional and Timely
Listen! I am a first time pet provider along with my two kids! I was unsure about purchasing but why not we have insurance for ourselves! When we had to recently file a claim the person who was assigned our case was nothing but PROFESSIONALa and took care of us every step of the way! So grateful!

Claims are easy to submit but take a while
I find the system Embrace uses for claims is very simple. The website is wonderful and intuitive as well. The one issue would be the length of time needed by Embrace to perfect and pay a claim and hence why I gave a 4-star rating. It took over 30 days which seems like an extended time. Other than that, all very good!

Glad I have Embrace Insurance
When I brought 2 1/2 year-old PB home in 2017, I immediately wanted to get pet insurance on him. Embrace insurance had good reviews and when I read their policy, I liked what they covered. I purchased their accident/illness program and their wellness program and I have never regretted it. A couple of years went by and PB developed grade II elbow dysplasia and a cervical problem. He also has a bad habit of eating anything he can get his mouth on. This has required some emergency hospitalizations. It was such a relief that affordability did not have to play a part in the decision in his treatment. Embrace insurance has covered everything that I have expected them to cover in accordance with their written policy. The claim filing process is very easy and the turnaround time for reimbursement is great. I have never had it take more than 2 to 3 weeks to get my claim resolved and money deposited and usually it’s done within a week. Their communication is great and their customer service representatives are fantastic. When I contact them by phone, they have been kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their wellness program is also more comprehensive than others I have investigated. The premiums do go up every year; however, older dogs can develop more problems as they age and veterinarian prices have gone up significantly in the recent years. I highly recommend this insurance for your fur babies. Thanks Embrace!

Super Slow Once You Meet Your Deductible
I recently submitted a claim for my dog, who had emergency surgery. The bill was eventually approved and reimbursement issued, but it took a month to receive approval and reimbursement. I have 4 additional outstanding claims, one of which is 3 weeks old, that I still haven't heard anything on, other than a polite "sorry this is taking longer than usual" email. But if all my claims take this long, is it really "longer than usual"? Quite a different experience to before I met my deductible, when they would process my claim and issue an EOB in a day. Almost as if they don't want to issue reimbursement.
