Very happy with Spot insurance
Very happy with Spot insurance for my fur baby! I haven't had any issues submitting claims and reimbursements for approved care are processed quickly. Having coverage for my pet gives me a sense of security in case of an emergency, and even just for routine visits.

I have been with Nationwide for 6 years…
I have been with Nationwide for 6 years now. Our rates increased by over $76 from last year for the whole health plan. They have increased our rates after the first year that we signed up. And it has happened every year. It takes several emails to customer service to get an answer. As far as claims, I had no issues with them until the pharmacy started to put on the forms that prescription price includes taxes. So I have to submit additional information with each claim now.

Mis-represented coverage and UPDATE
I contacted them 2 years ago to insure my cat for urethra obstruction and was led to believe that it would be covered after a 1 year wait period. 2 years later it occured, and Embrace just rejected my claim and said it is a non-covered condition. There is something in the contract that let's them do this, but it was not noted when we were discussing coverage on the phone - so be sure ALL aspects of the contract are clear on what coverage you may/may not have. UPDATE: After posting review, I got a new update and they have decided to accept my claim.

Change address issues
Wanted my address changed and learned a year later that it was never done! Have now switched to TD which gave me a better price and actually got my address correct!

AKC Pet Insurance representative
AKC Pet Insurance representative, Jessica, was knowledgeable, expedient and highly professional in providing support to me today. I have had AKC Pet Insurance for two of my dogs for several years now and have consistently been impressed. Highly recommend.

Overrated - difficult to use
I've had an issue with Fetch pet insurance with literally every interaction I've had with them. When submitting a claim for my dog they misread the dog's birthday and the date of the exam and kept insisting the claim was ineligible, and I had to contact them several different times to get it corrected and finally covered. They also randomly lost all of my pet's medical records. So frustrating.
