I've had Embrace for years
I've had Embrace for years. Whenever I talk to the staff I am always very satisfied with their knowledge and compassion. They are not in a rush and they take their time to answer all of your questions. They are also fun people. Everything is transparent and you know what you were purchasing up front. Healthy paws saved my best friend
My 4 years old beagle was diagnosed with IVDD, a painful and complex condition, that required an MRI, Surgery and a week in the hospital. Having Healthy Paws was a bless. They covered almost all expenses ($23K) and the full refund for all claim was made in less than 30 days. I wish that my own premium was as good as Healthy paws. Eficient, Simple, and honest.

Grateful to have coverage for our dog through Pets Best! I was a bit unsure how claims for a pet worked compared to human insurance claims, and chatting online with Pets Best was very helpful in answering my questions regarding how deductibles and claims work before I needed to submit my first claim. They also were responsive over email when I wasn't able to update a claim in the portal. Overall, the process was simple, we received reimbursement within a month, and it is a HUGE relief to know that our sweet dog has medical insurance coverage so that cost does not need to factor into the intense decisions being made regarding her potential care.

Scam
This company is scamming customers. They consider any vet visit a pre-existing condition, even if there is no diagnosis. So, all the testing while they try to find out what’s going on will be rejected. Plus, the customer rep was very rude on the phone, and kept interrupting. Their policy is written vaguely on purpose to scam customers. Perhaps rewrite your policy to be clear.
