Insurance Scam
I wish I had read these reviews before changing over to Embrace Pet Insurance. I wholeheartedly agree with the people who were taken in by pre-existing conditions of lipomas and tartar, which apparently was the reason my claim was denied...and will be denied in the future for any of these reasons. I told my vet how they are even lumping the catch-all, "including cancer," as a pre-existing condition; she was appalled. Just to be clear, my dog has never had cancer. I spoke with a representative, who was syrupy (and condescendingly) sweet, but could provide no reason why I should even have pet insurance. Each hypothetical injury/disease was met with the standard "well, it depends on XYZ" or "each case is different." Bottom line, they will do and/or say anything to get out of helping to pay your bill. In fact, if I had set aside the money I paid in premiums, I would have saved close to the actual bill amount. Because this company is associated with USAA, I thought it would be better than a basic insurance company. Boy, was I wrong! Save yourself heartache and time by "paying" yourself the premium cost and using that to take care of the bills.

Online Easy!
I did everything online. It was so very easy and covered what I wanted for my pup. I haven't had to make a claim yet, happy day, but as a Veteran in the Soldier's Best Friend, program I'm sure my pup is in good care with this insurance and Riverside Veterinarian Clinic here in Tucson.

Pet’s Best has been a lifesaver time & time again. We wouldn’t trust our furbabies care to anyone else.

Spot was a God-send when our dog…
Spot was a God-send when our dog decided to eat a sock followed by a mouthful of pea gravel. The surgery would have been a huge blow to our budget, but Spot saved the day! The mothly cost. is very reasonable, and about the same as what we were paying for Banfield, and Banfield never covered big emergencies, they only gave a 20% discount. I recommend Spot to all my friends.

Super fast claims processing
We visited my dog's oncologist on Monday afternoon. Late that evening, I submitted the invoice and early Wednesday morning I received an email informing me that our claim had been approved. This isn't an isolated instance. PetsBest has rapidly processed every claim that we've submitted and payment follows shortly thereafter. I'm not one to make recommendations, but I've been telling every pet owner I know about my experience with PetsBest.

Excellent insurance worth every penny
In March of this year, my cat had a sudden medical disaster. The cost of the 1-week hospitalization, which included emergency abdominal surgery and a multi-day ICU stay, exceeded $43,000 (this is not a typo). Spot was great and promptly reimbursed me once I submitted all the documentation. They've also since paid for ongoing vet bills (the most recent for a routine outpatient visit with sonogram was slightly more than $1,000). My cat was reasonably healthy when I bought pet insurance for her. You never expect a medical calamity so my advice now to anyone with a pet is to get insurance ASAP. Just like people, every pet is going to eventually need thousands of dollars of veterinary care.

Great except one thing...
The only complaint I have is that the app and member center do not work for easy claim submission. Other than that i'm extremely happy with Spot.
