Screwed us over
When our pet got cancer Nationwide claimed it was a pre-existing condition because a vet had treated the same part of the cat for an entirely different issue 1+ year earlier. The vet was dumbfounded at how they could say the 2 issues were the same. We paid thousands out of pocket to heal our furry family member. I feel like Nationwide is laughing at us, all the way to the bank with their ill gotten profits on our pain and suffering.

Very satisfied with this company
My husband paid the vet bill and forgot to mention that we have Trupanion insurance, the staff then submitted the paperwork to Trupanion for payment. That day we received a notice that they would only paid a small portion, we were charged as if this was a new symptom. I called Trupanion, they got on the phone with the vet and everything was cleared up. We received our correct payment. Have used Trupanion for several years, they pay what they agree to without any hassle, immediately. I recommend them to anyone wanting pet insurance.

Metlife pet insurance has given me such peace of mind with my boy.. trusting that Metlife has us covered allows me to love all my little moments with him even more.
