Very quick to process a claim. I have since renewed but updated. They only thing is I wish coverage was more than $4000.

So disappointed.
I have been a customer of theirs for 10 years. My policy premiums increased for over $700 this year (even though I had no claims for the last 8 years). I feel like they are trying to make money by ripping off customers and taking advantage of the love we have for our fur babies. So disappointed. Don’t waste your money.

Honest and good company, we’re grateful to be their customers!
I’ve (unfortunately) had to submit multiple claims over the years for injured and/or sick dogs. Never once have I ever had any issues getting reimbursed appropriately. And I’ve had some bigger claims- including emergency surgery and cancer treatments. The claim submission process is extremely easy. The customer service reps are always kind and ready to help. I recommend Pets Best Insurance any time the topic comes up to family and friends, and will continue to do so. Thank you to Pets Best for allowing us to give our dogs the best care possible! **Some things that people need to understand about pet insurance- pre existing conditions are a thing. Do not purchase this insurance (or any other pet insurance for that matter) AFTER a condition is diagnosed and expect to be reimbursed. That’s not how it works. Also, read the fine print and understand how your bill works. There are copays and premiums do increase every year based off of the plan you choose and the age of your dog (human insurance works the same way). In my experience the premiums increase about $50 per year, as the dog ages. And I stress- read the fine print! It’s pretty obvious that the people getting upset and leaving negative reviews about this company are ones who are not reading the fine print and allowing themselves the opportunity to understand their plan.

You were great with my refund for emergency care. Really great. But my other claims were basically denied. Reason preexisting condition. I don't think an ear infection in a different ear, different organism, and different treatment is preexisting.

Well only have had the coverage for a short period of time we went to the vet and had an exam done and shot of rabies shot and I have yet to one receive the benefit information and I did submit a claim that was over the deductible and I have not heard back regarding that claim whether a payment or a denial or anything otherwise I would give it more stars

Insurance is only as good as their willingness to pay out -- and you never really know if they are going to pay out until after you sign up and make a claim. I've now had to make two claims with Pets Best and in both cases, they paid out exactly what was promised. I wish their processing went a little faster (they sent an email apologizing for the time it took proactively) but once a claim was authorized, they paid via ACH fairly quickly. I picked them because they were the most competitive for a "higher value" policy (unlimited annual coverage, $500 deductible, 90% coverage over deductible, and small adder to cover diagnostic fees). I picked this because I can always downgrade coverage in the future (but you can never go the other way) My only concern is I have no idea how much the renewal will cost; I'll find that out in 6 months or so.
