Claim processing- surgical procedure
The claim submission was easy and the claim was processed and paid in less than a week! Reimbursement monies were in my account the very next day after notification that claim was processed. What can be better than that??

Any Excuse not to Pay a Claim
I signed up with Embrace based on generally good reviews and have been deeply disappointed. I've had two minor claims so far, both of which, after much back-and-forth and repeatedly asking for the same paperwork, were denied claiming "pre-existing conditions." This was patently not true -- for instance, I had an emergency visit because the cat was constipated, they cited "lack of appetite" as a pre-existing condition, which did not relate to the vet's diagnosis at all. I will have to terminate this policy and I really wish I had signed up with something else.

This is the worst communication and exprerience I ever had with insurance company. I got numerous notifications that my policy will be automatically renewed. I knew I didn't want to have this insurance again and on March 2nd, I decided to cancel the policy in advance, so I won't be charged on April 1st again. My current policy was until April 1st 2024. So I go to my policy and there is a tiny calender asking when you want your policy to end. I think between April 1st and March 31st. I go for March 31st, as I have a new policy with another insurance company starting on April 1st. I choose March 31st, get an email that my policy will be cancelled (no date, nothing) but I am aware I chose March 31st, 2024. A few days later, I log in and see that I have no active policy. I spent 2 hours trying to get in touch with a customer service, they hang up on me, never called me back. Finally, I spoke to a girl, who made we wait about an hour to find out, that yes, they DO SEE that I chose March 31st 2024, but this feauture on the website doesn't work. So my policy was cancelled on March 2nd. WHY would you scam people like this? I was promised to be contacted with a sollution within 2 business days and no one ever got back to me. I called again today, asked for a girl I spoke with and they hang up again. If anything happened, I wouldn't even know that my insurance wasn't active.
