Won't use an online only insurance company again
I was pulled over for driving 'a tad bit fast'. When asked to produce my insurance slip, I realized that Sonnet does not issue them. I tried to access my slip online but could not get a signal to do so. I was issued a $50 fine for this, no big deal I thought, since I was fully insured with Sonnet and have also not had a ticket in 30 years, so no knowledge of penalties. Despite the fact that I was insured with Sonnet, they increased my yearly premium by more than 100%. I had to immediately cancel my car insurance with them, they then hiked up my home insurance and I had to cancel that too. Yes, it's my fault for not realizing that I had no slip in the car but I have always had them mailed to me and therefore no need to remember. Disgusted with their service!!
