One claim and rate skyrocketed
I submitted one claim for approximately 1800 when my dog broke her foot. We had been a client for five years with zero other claims. My monthly rate went from approximately $41 to $60 in one month. Their excuse was they had her breed wrong, she’s a mix and they had her as a Labradoodle and when they changed her to a mixed breed, they said that was the cause of rate skyrocketing. When I questioned it, they went radio silent on me. I’m filing a claim with the state of California insurance commission. I would suggest you avoid this company.

I got notified that the claim 2nd one h closed due to no response and a representative said she would reopen the claim for reimbursement. That never happened and no follow up was given. I will be looking at other insurance in the future
