Trupanion is FRAUD, DO NOT RECOMMEND
I would like to give ZERO stars but its not an option. I had 6 out of 7 of my insurance claims this year rejected by Trupanian as "pre-existing" because my dog has had swollen lymph nodes in her neck in the past. My dog often gets swollen lymph nodes and its a sign something is wrong to investigate and test, yet nothing is honored. I wish I had gone with a better provider as having to fight back and get evidence from the vet takes ages and is more work than going to the vet with a sick animal. I do not recommend anyone use Trupanion, I pay $314 a month and it has cost me MORE money to have this insurance since they honor my claims only 10% of the time. I wish I had done my research on Reddit and the Better Business Bureau where they have less than 2 stars. I would like to have another provider but its a bit late to change. It feels like I have to fight a court case every time I submit an invoice and its rejected. Choose better than I did!
