Submission of Multiple Claims
First off, I want to say thank you Figo for the speedy turnaround with our submitted claims. We had an emergency issue, a routine vaccinations/tests and a need for a vet visit for tummy issues. All toll, we had a good amount of fees. Our payment from Figo was more than half, always a fee or two not covered, but we are pleased with what we got back. I chose to have coverage for our pup because they can easily get into so many things, the outcome could be over the top for us. At this time it is worth the monthly fee.

I called to have them review my recent claim. They stated because my cat had a pre-existing condition her yearly check-up wasn’t covered by wellness rewards. Ummm.. yes it is. The rep said she would send it to an adjuster. She never did. Terrible service.

First claim on my new pup and what an absolute pain in the …. I even went to both vets and got the requested SOAP notes and uploaded myself. Then my claim was denied before the claims department even read the attachments! Then I had to argue that the notes were uploaded and all I heard was our system blah blah blah… eventually after I spoke to the adjuster after numerous calls the claim was reviewed appropriately and approved. I should never have to fight this hard when u did exactly what you asked.

Customer service reps have been…
Customer service reps have been helpful. However, I've been frustrated over what they will / won't cover and the process. When they received my first claim they requested records from my vet and the vet who saw my dog before I got him. He had a slight ear infection when my vet first saw him. It's not covered. She filled out papers attesting no physical issues with bones, joints etc. I sent it and it was approved. Then, he developed a hip problem. Before considering the claim they requested records again. Next they didn't cover the shockwave treatments. Dental exam. No coverage. A few thousand in bills and what they covered didn't meet the deductible. Now he has an ear infection. Embrace requested medical records from all vets again. They requested them from the vet who saw him before he was mine, the Ortho vet and his regular vet. The rep said they "might" cover the infection this time. They won't know until they have all the records. He's three and I've had him for more than two years. What does the original vet have to do with an ear infection? What does an orthopedic vet have to do with an ear infection? I asked and was told they automatically request the records from everyone who has ever seen him. This is a lot of hoops to go through almost every time there's a claim. Overall I'm displeased. My next dog won't be covered by Embrace. I'm considering dropping it on my current dog.

I love this pet insurance! I have a big mutt who came to us as an adult with health issues. ManyPets has saved our bacon.
