I feel it’s really sad that my puppy needs get violently ill or die before the insurance will pay for his surgery. My puppy NEEDS to be neutered because his testicle never dropped which causes severe problems.

easy to figure out what is covered, and submitting the claim process is relativity easy. Good coverage. The only downfall is that with most pet insurance you pay out of pocket first and submit the claim and wait. So you do have to have a savings acct for the fluffy loved one in case of accidents, But having this coverage does help with the costs in case issues do arise. best price for me and insurance for my furry family member.

They advertise that they pay the doctor directly. I signed up with this company specifically because of that,and they just informed me at my first visit to the vet they do not pay the directly. I have to pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed. Super disappointed.

I have not had to submit a claim thank goodness but did need help with my account and adding on a new pup. Tyler the rep that helped me was friendly, fast, and efficient. Thank you for access to a live person. My issue would have been frustrating to try and fix using AI chat bots.

I will never recommend Embrace to anyone! Delay Delay Delay. You kept saying you needed medical records when our providers sent them 3x! Then you denied claims that should have been covered under our policy. and then, our premiums almost doubled after a year!

They love to claim pre-existing conditions on EVERYTHING and reset the clock for another 12 months after they deny your claim. They claimed pre-existing conditions on my cat getting attacked and injured because she had been in a fight 7 months earlier.

Look somewhere else
Honestly, if I could give them a zero I would! I already canceled my policy and will be looking elsewhere for pet insurance. My Maine coon cat was seen at her initial visit and in the doctors notes he put that she had some eye drainage. We were referred after our waiting. Period to an animal eye doctor where she was diagnosed with entropion. The adjuster went back-and-forth for two months with me and then we were denied due to her having a “pre-existing condition” because she had eye drainage. And quite honestly, after speaking to the adjuster on the phone about the issue, she was just completely rude and offputting.
