Great Relief Having This Insurance
We have had Healthy Paws Insurance for both of our dogs for a while. Heartbreaking, but we lost one of our dogs to cancer recently. We were devastated, but after gathering up all the bills for his treatment and hospitalization, it was totaling over $7,000. We had to pay our vet up front, but because we had Healthy Paws, they took care of all but $250 (which is our deductible), and we got reimbursement within 5 days of filing a claim. If you can afford the insurance (about $110/month for our two dogs, now about $50 for one), do it. It's a monthly expense yes, but if something bad happens, it's great to know you can get things paid for. And it's a huge relief that doesn't make your grief worse.

The claims process was easy to fill out and submit my receipts. I have direct deposit so my reimbursement was deposited in less than 2 weeks. I believe it only took a little over a week for most of my claims to process and received my reimbursement. So thankful for Spot! Now I can afford to rescue a few more!
