Great insurance. I was a member of a well known wellness plan and only one veterinarian was good and knew her stuff, after she retired my pets health went down hill. With soot I get to choose my own VET and I’m not locked into the plans after filing a claim like the previous wellness plans I have for years. Filing claims are very easy and convenient.

BE AWARE SPOT PET INSURANCE
Hello, I had Spot Pet Insurance for almost two years, I have paid $212.35 a month. I have a four year old Great Dane healthy. I finally needed to use Spot Pet Insurance what I have paid every month. I noticed my Great Dane started itching after a few weeks after being seen at his vet. I called the vet, I asked the nurse/ vet doctor I noticed my Great Dane itchy. He told me possible allergies this time of season. I said okay, also explained I had Spot Pet Insurance. The Vet told me, I am going to right you an estimate so you can submit the claim to Spot Pet Insurance. I said Great let’s do that. My vet emails me the estimate claim of procedures they want to do for my Great Dane. In 15 minutes I receive the claim of procedures. I quickly turn around and email the claim of procedures to Spot Pet Insurance that I have had for almost two years of paying $212.35 monthly. I am waiting and waiting a week already for Spot Insurance to come back and tell me we need to go back six months before you had Spot Pet Insurance. Of course I am not happy, I am seeing my poor Great Dane Itching and Itching its already been a week later. A week later Spot Insurance sends me a message on there app that they need more information. Spot Pet Insurance is contacting my vet to get my Great Dane history the last six months prior of Insurance with them. Again I am not happy, I called told my vet please send Spot Pet Insurance the documents Spot Pet Insurance needs. My Great Dane needs to see the vet. My vet sure right away no problem. Once again I am waiting and waiting another week from Spot Pet Insurance to send me an email that my claim was denied due to prior pre-existing conditions. At this point I am beyond Furious my Great Dane had no prior pre-existing conditions. I want everybody that has Spot Pet Insurance. Or is looking to buy pet insurance. To know how Spot Pet Insurance does to not pay when my Great Dane needed help. How they get around Not taken care of my Healthy Great Dane is why I’m writing this horrible Review about This Company. Two months prior from me getting Spot Pet Insurance. As pet owners, we ask our vet questions about our pet, we are concerned. We love our pet. We don’t want nothing to happen to our pet. We love our pets, These pets are our children. The vet put at the bottom on a side note for my knowledge having a Great Dane may need to check food allergies. Great Danes are sensitive to food. Not once did my vet say that my Great Dane needed to be treated for allergies? Not once did the vet prescribed my Great Dane medication. Again My great Dane was not treated for allergies of no sort from the vet at that time. I repeat my great Dane was not treated for allergies of any sort of that of allergies on that day. Again, because The vet put at the bottom on a side note for my knowledge having a Great Dane may need to check food allergies every Great Dane is different. That’s why Spot Pet Insurance denied treatment for my Great Dane saying the side note that was from my knowledge of me asking questions was a pre-existing condition for my Great Dane. Spot Pet Insurance left my poor baby my Great Dane itching for weeks saying a pre-existing condition that was not treated for just because a side note that I was asking questions about my Great Dane. This company pride themselves how much they care about pets. How they are there for you. How they are there to help you. I can tell you from experience this company. They pride themselves on how they don’t care about your pets. This company did not help me. I repeat This company did not help with my Great Dane. I went back to my vet and told them that my claim was denied from Spot Pet Insurance because of what was in the side note. My vet laughed, he couldn’t believe it. He told me I’m am going to write you a paper stating that your Great Dane had no allergies at this time and was not treated for allergies at this time. Take that back to Spot Pet Insurance. I did submit that Document the vet wrote for me to Spot Pet Insurance. Also Cancelled my dog Spot Pet Insurance immediately after with them as this is Worse Company that would use a side note for my knowledge to not treat my Great Dane. Use something so out of this world as side note to leave my Great Dane itching for weeks to say it is a pre-existing condition because of a side note that I was asking questions about my Great Dane getting information. Again, I want Whoever reads my review my Great Dane was not treated at the vet, was not given any medication. My Great Dane was not even being seen for allergies, this was a check up for my Great Dane, This is why I was asking questions about my Great Dane. This company Spot Pet Insurance left my Great Dane without treatment. If anybody is considering Spot Pet Insurance. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY…SPOT PET INSURANCE.
