Thank you for years of amazing service
This is not a rating for a specific recent service--this is for over 6 years of incredible support for our late dog Kuma. Before we brought Kuma into our family, I had heard from a family member that Pet Insurance was a good idea. I signed up and did not think much of it--until our girl was diagnosed with a tumor that was going to be expensive and need removal if she had a chance at survival. I'm so used to human insurance, that I was fully anticipating a battle to receive the help promised by PetsBest. I was absolutely amazed by the efficiency of the entire process, both with the web interface, and every interaction I had with support staff. We had a tough year with our little pup, with lots of meds, tests and treatments, ergo a lot of filings. There were many stressful and emotional times in the process, but never once was PetsBest a stresser. If we had to be worrying about the financials of her treatment, we would've likely lost a whole additional year with our baby girl. I have been recommending PetsBest to all of my friends who are getting dogs--if you can afford it, it is a must have. I don't every think I've written a review like this in my entire life, but you and the team deserve to hear it. Kuma's life was better because of this service.

Nothing bad to say
Filing claims is easy. Turn around time has been about 5 weeks for claims. They have not denied any claims which has made navigating our dog’s new health condition so much less stressful.

comprehensive, timely, and reliable. I had a claim for my dog only a few weeks after I signed up and I was worried they would try to find a way out of paying the claim but in fact they paid all but $10 and my deductible. Payout was easy, I could track the status of my claim online, submission process was very easy. Overall a painless process.

Exhausting frustrated but happy in the end
This was my first claim but multiple claims and my experience was exhausting and stressful. Now Embrace does say the first claim is the hardest because of all the medical records they have to acquire from the vets and after the first claim the process is easier. First off my vet was not sending documents embrace needed. Then embrace said they didn't receive documents that I knew they had cause I scanned them. But the main problem was embrace was waiting for papers from a vet my dog never went to located in another state. The main central office must have been located there. This was 3 months of waiting after they received all medical records. I didn't get results until I called them twice and spoke to 3 separate employees at different times. By time I spoke to the last employee I was frustrated and they resolved the issue that day and I received a deposit 3 days later. That employee made me very happy. There is a breakdown with communication that needs to be resolved somehow. Having this insurance has saved me a few thousand dollars and I got the insurance last year.
