Long Wait :(
This was my 1st experience with both a pet insurance & a claim. From what I understand from looking at other pet insurances, it is very common to take a month or even over a month to secure a payment. This was the case with Embrace, which, less the deductible, is the standard & which I was expecting. Would be nice if it could come a little faster, but I understand. Otherwise, I'm happy with the results! :) As far as dealing directly with the people at Embrace, they were all very knowledgeable & helpful.

Complete scam. Beware. They deny everything as "pre-existing". It may have existed before I obtained the pet! But it was not diagnosed until after I obtained the pet and purchased the insurance. Even with her spay they denied all supportive care. I canceled the policy by telephone and they denied they received a call.

Do Better
Spot pet insurance has been a really bad experience for me both times. I feel like they are very slow with the claims. Unfortunately, this company cost too much and reimburses so little. I had a $900 (only accepted $866) vet bill for an emergency visit and I already met my deductible and they only reimbursed me $255. There are better places than this. Claim# 5500500 And the company is going to give a canned response to this stating that that I should contact them. Please know that I have contacted them and voiced my concerns and they are doing nothing about it.
