Beware of fraudulent practices
Re: Trupanion Customer Service, We have been paying premiums to this company since July 2022 and we assumed our dog Nutmeg was covered by their plan. However, we just recently were made aware that she was registered only a few days ago and so it seems that this was because the company claimed repeatedly that they had not received the veterinary records. This is false as we checked it out with our vet. They would not tell us what would be covered in the event of an incident and did not process the one claim we made. So, this company collected premiums from us for more than two years — increasing them substantially on each anniversary date when we were actually not insured. This constitutes fraud and I will be following up with the company on this point. As a result, we have now cancelled our policy.

Easy Setup
