Spot has been fabulous! We purchased 2 puppies from a breeder in March, and purchased insurance on both immediately. Thank goodness we did. Their first vet exam was great, clean bill of health. Taking them back for their 14 week vaccinations, we found out one of them, Aksel had a heart murmur. He had to be seen by a specialist, and have heart surgery. Spot pet insurance, has been wonderful. We filed the claim, and received the reimbursement within days. We now have 2 happy, healthy puppies, with a normal life expectancy! Thank you so much!!!

Simply the best in pet health insurance!
I have tried other health insurance fr our cats (we have 3). When my employer added MetLife Pets to our supplementary plans, I signed up mostly because payroll deductions would be more convenient than paying the plan I had at that time. I was very much pleasantly surprised - First, when I called to get a quote, they asked me how I wanted my policy to be. So they tailored on for me and my 3 cats - covers anything I take them to the vet for, including emergencies and dental and $0.00 deductible. Premiums wereat least 20% less than the current plans I have had which covered only wellness. No more nickel and diming wiht the vet! Even better, MetLife Pets website and app is so easy to use that filing claims is as easy as logging in an uploading copies of the invoice and vet notes (called SOAP). 10 days after documents were uploaded, my reimbursements just show up in my bank account! One more thing - When my son's wife took one of our cats to the vet and did not get the SOAP notes, MetLife Claims Processor contacts the vet and got the documents for us. Now that is Customer Service! Even better - we got reimbursement a day after the vet sent them the documents. That's efficiency!

Love the quarterly payment option…
I really like the flexible payment options. But their app is a bit glitchy and I'm not a fan of being told that I NEED to take my pet to the vet.Also you have to go above and beyond to get every document from your vet as Fetch seems to not believe you...in my experience it takes awhile.And it takes even longer for your claim to be approved. One of the things I've noticed (after starting up a new policy) is that they've added a "wellness add on". I'm VERY disappointed (and a bit angry to be honest) that the prices have gone up (just a bit) and that we're actually getting less for our money now. So annual checkups and exams don't count unless I pay you more? Not sure how long I'm going to stick with this company. I used them for years (when they were known as Petplan and a bit after the brand change) and then cancelled my last policy. (Long story). Honestly pet insurance is one of those things that's good to have but it's like car insurance: you're most likely not going to need it for yearssss. In the meantime you'll be parting with an arm and a leg. Better safe than sorry but I'd advice you to look. Also remember that you're being reimbursed: which means you have to come up with whatever money you need first and then try and get some back through your insurance.(I was with Trupanion as well and they're excellent. The only reason I came back to Fetch is due to my history with this company and flexible quarterly payments). So yeah. My experience with this company is a bit of a mixed bag. It is a bit of weight off my shoulders to know that my dog is covered though

We just got a new puppy and decided to go with Spot for Insurance due to preventative plan. My experience from contacting customer service to ask questions to filing a claim has been extremely easy. The customer service reps were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance!!
