TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES
The dermatitis claim I submitted for my three year old female rotty was denied today, because Embrace says it's a pre-existing condition. She was diagnosed with dermatitis while covered by a pet insurance policy with PetPlan, before being convinced to switch over Embrace, since we're USAA members. There was no gap in coverage between the policies. Embrace is stating that since she was diagnosed with dermatitis before being covered under their policy it would be deemed pre-existing. That's the most insane thing I have ever heard. When I signed up in May 2024, I asked if diagnoses would carry over to the new policy if there was no gap in coverage (same as if a person were to switch insurance policies), but of course Embrace is now telling me that it's in their terms and conditions. That's fine having it in your terms and conditions, but perhaps train your employees to ensure they're not providing incorrect information to your potential customers, because most people are going to assume they are receiving the correct information from an employee of your company. I do not recommend Embrace!

I am beyond grateful to Trupanion
I am beyond grateful to Trupanion for providing coverage for my dog. He has needed several very expensive diagnostic tests and most recently a very expensive surgery. Trupanion has covered it all and approves my claims in under 24 hours. The peace of mind I have knowing I can just say "yes" to give my dog what he needs is priceless. Thank you, Trupanion!

Could not be easier
Could not be easier. Having a puppy, accidents and illnesses happen. I have only filed a couple of claims, but the process is easy, efficient, and flawless. I’m so glad to have had Spot, especially after our emergency vet visit. Money was back in my bank within a couple of days.
