Not great
Not great, a lot of back and forth about required med documents. Not clear what was needed for a claim. Denied coverage on probiotics, prescribed by the vet, used to minimize side effects of drugs.

ASPCA is ALWAYS very responsive, emailing me even if claims are taking longer than usual. Claims are always refunded Very promptly and hardly ever questioned.i could not be happier and I’ve signed up my other pet as well.

It was our 1st time submitting a claim
It was our 1st time submitting a claim. Everything worked OK though I would like all those" tips" provided after we sent the claim form to be shown to us earlier. I mean we were instructed to send receipts, which we did, but only later we were told to submit detailed reports as well, hence was the delay.

Healthy Paws Coverage
The date listed was our dog's latest chemo treatment. Since we got Healthy Paws insurance for her at age 3 (she is now 10) she's developed epilepsy and now lymphoma. The costs have been in the 10s of thousands. Healthy Paws has covered everything they said they would with no delay or arguments. I receive payment within a week of submitting claims. Without the cancer treatment she has been receiving, she would no longer be here. We are very grateful to be able to have more time and memories with her. One note about cost. It does go up every year but is not pegged to how much you use it. At 90% coverage, $500 deductible, and 10 years old, our monthly cost will be $219.28 per month next year. This past year it was $152.51.

A must for new puppy owners.
My puppy is 10 months old and believes he is a Hoover, vacuuming up everything in site. This brought us to the vet quite a few times. Spot makes it so easy to submit a claim and the processing time and reimbursement process is super fast. I am very glad I got pet insurance for my puppy.
