I've had Spot Insurance for my cat for about 3 years now. I recently brought her in for some bloodwork and check up and was surprised how quick Spot reimbursed me for the visit. Read the fine print and do the math. But yes, I'm happy I got pet insurance and would really recommend Spot.

Your rates are too high. Jumping from $25 a month to $65 a month in 5 years for a 78 year old lady with one little cat is too much too fast.

I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for about a year and a half. The first few claims went quickly. They were routine vet visits. Then comes December of this year and I need to cover the TPLO surgery. I send them the office visit claim, as well as the heads up for the surgery. Now they need more information, they don’t have the 1 year prior history….even though they had received that upon signing up for insurance. This claim as well as the actual surgery claim is still on hold for more health records. I made sure to call them because they were not specific about which Vet was not complying with their request. So, I went to that office and made sure the records were sent immediately, with me cc’d. They did comply. Now I am still waiting, no updates, just waiting. There updates are not something valuable, because it’s just an automatic email response . Not happy so far.
