If I could give you a zero I would
If I could give you a zero I would. We have PET ER paperwork showing our puppy contracted pneumonia during an accidental kennel experience where he inhaled water. One lung was completely full of fluid and it was a near death experience. They ruled it as a preexisting condition which is ridiculous! We pay for the 90% reimbursement plan and this was an ER visit with several days in the hospital. This was very expensive for us but we pay for the higher reimbursement to help for incidents like this. We’ve tried fighting the claim and have been denied multiple times. What a waste of money.

Despite my vet writing multiple explanations as to why my pets illness is not the result of a preexisting condition, they won’t listen and the medical bills and time have dragged out. I am extremely disappointed in the criteria and disregard for literature surrounding the coverage decisions.
