Easy and fast
It was really easy to submit the claim via the app and I got reimbursed very quickly. I'm honestly very grateful because it was a huge bill from the emergency vet and I got reimbursed for most of it. Next year I'm going to increase the plan to the premium one.

When your pet gets sick
When your pet gets sick, it is so hard because they can not tell you exactly what is going on. I had to rush Enzo to the hospital 1.5 hrs away from our home in VT. It was so hard having to leave him there overnight. When I picked him up the next day and brought him home he began to have diarrhea uncontrolled. I had to bring him back to the same hospital 1.5 hrs away. They were able stop the diarrhea and give him fluids so he could come home again. Though we never found the cause of his severe gastroenteritis he recovered. I am so grateful for your speedy claim processing.

Yahtzee's Hip Dysplasia
"Yahtzee was experiencing pain in her hip and the vet diagnosed her with hip dysplasia. We paid the vet and filed a claim with Pets Best. We received an immediate email confirming the claim had been received and another email a week or so later letting us know the claim was still under review. It's nice to get an update so you don't think nothing is happening. Once the claim was final we received an email explaining the decision and received reimbursement by direct deposit shortly after. The whole process as very simple and not stressful at all! "
Quick and helpful support team
We have a cat with some pre-existing conditions. After a regular annual check-up, as usual, we submitted a claim. Initially, the claim was rejected because one of the items in the invoice was related to the preexisting conditions, despite explicitly mentioning that items associated with the pre-existing conditions are not included in the claim amount. However, after the appeal call the claim was quickly re-checked and was properly attributed to the wellness rewards. And by "quickly" I mean that it was rechecked in 2 days, while the initial review took almost 2 weeks. So the overall experience is good - minus for the lack of attention on the initial review, plus for the quick and helpful support team and quick re-check.
