The process takes months for results and I had to resubmit and do appeal claims, which was a hassle. It has been a stressful process working with Pets Best.

We enrolled our Black Lab in Spot a year ago, and they have been great. I've had to file a couple of claims, and they've always been processed smoothly, effectively, and covered as per the plan. Whenever I have had to contact the team directly, they are very friendly and helpful!

Embrace offers good products, but one needs to be diligent about how claims adjusters process claims.
Embrace offers good products, but one has to stay alert to make sure they reimburse for qualified services. It seems that claims adjusters make arbitrary decisions about whether to pay or not. I submitted a claim to use wellness rewards for my pet’s recent annual physical. The adjuster changed my claim to an accident/illness insurance claim and initially didn’t cover anything and said my claim amount would pay toward the annual insurance deductible ( there is no deductible for wellness (preventative health services.) I disputed this and the adjuster changed the decision and covered my claim in full. It was a straight forward wellness claim that took over a week to resolve. One has to know the Embrace policies and be diligent about how they process your claims. My premium just went up by $50 per month, with no explanation, so I need to contact them again about this. I’ve read that they increase premiums as the pet ages, and my cat is 8 years old, which is not that old for a healthy, spayed indoor cat. I may not keep this insurance, and am currently considering decreasing coverage at the very least. I mainly took out this insurance because it offers dental insurance for my younger cat that has chronic dental issues.

Pets Best is Pets Worst
I'm a new customer. My dog had an accident and required some minor covered care. I submitted the claim and documentation. I received three emails apologizing for the delay (over 45 days) and claiming they were waiting for my dog's medical record from the vet. This is totally false. The health record from my vet was uploaded and added to my file the day I joined. The claim was denied. I cancelled my coverage.

Run don't walk from these guys.
Should have read the fine print before selecting Pets Best. You submit a claim and they look for any small print to not pay. For example, my dog had a pre-existing condition ( as they described it) on her left leg. So, no coverage, ever for that. She injured her right leg while roughhousing and they would not cover xrays or medication to diagnose the injury because they consider the legs to be one in the same. Just BS; if I break my right arm, it has no impact on the left. Will drop them like a rock now.
