I can't praise Joshua Sabado highly enough! So calm, polite, professional. I hung up by accident and he even calledr back. He took the time to answer all of my questions so patiently. Would rate lower if I could

Emergency Operation

After an emergency operation on my dog for a blockage on Monday I submitted a claim that evening. By Tuesday the claim was processed and covered with a deposit in my account per the terms of the coverage. This is excellent service.

TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES

The dermatitis claim I submitted for my three year old female rotty was denied today, because Embrace says it's a pre-existing condition. She was diagnosed with dermatitis while covered by a pet insurance policy with PetPlan, before being convinced to switch over Embrace, since we're USAA members. There was no gap in coverage between the policies. Embrace is stating that since she was diagnosed with dermatitis before being covered under their policy it would be deemed pre-existing. That's the most insane thing I have ever heard. When I signed up in May 2024, I asked if diagnoses would carry over to the new policy if there was no gap in coverage (same as if a person were to switch insurance policies), but of course Embrace is now telling me that it's in their terms and conditions. That's fine having it in your terms and conditions, but perhaps train your employees to ensure they're not providing incorrect information to your potential customers, because most people are going to assume they are receiving the correct information from an employee of your company. I do not recommend Embrace!
