FRAUD - Keeps Billing You After Cancelling Policy
Fetch makes it very difficult to cancel a policy. It is impossible to cancel online and nearly impossible to reach them by phone during their business hours. So in lieu of being able to cancel easily online, I deleted my credit card information so that they would have to cancel my policy when my payment failed. I received no less than eight notices that my payment had failed and my policy would be canceled. This is what I wanted, so I did not respond to these notices, trusting that my policy would indeed be canceled. Imagine my shock when I opened my credit card statement and discovered they are STILL BILLING ME despite having sent me EIGHT notices that my policy would be canceled, two months after I DELETED MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. It appears they have gone through their records, found my previously saved credit card information, and used it to continue billing me after I explicitly withdrew my consent to use said credit card information. I came to Trustpilot immediately after filing a formal complaint with the California Department of Insurance. After the Thanksgiving holiday, I will call my credit card issuer and dispute the fraudulent transactions, and I will supplement my Department of Insurance report with a fraud report to the California Attorney General's office. If you are in the same situation, please report the fraud to the Department of Insurance in your state. This is absolutely illegal and I will get my money back even if I have to pay the Small Claims filing fee and sue them myself to do it. I was obviously unhappy with Fetch already, hence the desire to cancel, and using my credit card information without my consent after I expressly deleted it is the absolute last straw.

My dog was excluded for any future cancer
I was asked repeatedly to submit my pets records. I submitted them than was asked to do it again. This happened three times to the point I was extremely annoyed. The process was suppose to take approx 30 days. I was told the 30 days starts from the date they receive the last record from the vet. After two months I received a policy that excluded my dog from any kind of cancer because she had a benign cyst removed. The premium amount was over $100 a month which was outrageous for excluding cancer. I went to Nationwide Pet insurance. They also excluded her but for a cyst if it showed up in the same spot. They did not exclude her from any future cancer. In fact, I was told to call back in six months and they will review her records and if she had no issues they will remove that exclusion. My dog has unlimited coverage that now covers everything with Nationwide. Embrace took way too long to review her records and excluded her for any future cancer. That was a very big deal to me since my dog is only 1 year old.

Redemption !! Embrace Rocks !!
Redemption !! After a long and arduous appeal process regarding coverage for my dear Stella Blue, Embrace came through in the clutch. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance for all your pets' needs...they were considerate when it came to my providing them with all necessary documentation and back up information for our claim. Stella Blue suffered an unexpected and traumatic injury, and we will receive the reimbursement for most of the charges...just in time for the holidays !!

Removes services, increases pricing
My dog is now 11 years old. My insurance started at about $900/ year which I got when oliver was 3 months old. I've had 2 or 3 claims over the years which wasn't even fully covered even though I had 100percent then. They have since reduced my coverage to 90 percent, increased deductible, removed the death benefit I had and drastically increased prices. The last price increase I was told about was up to $2400/year. And this year I just noticed the increase again to $3925/year. I wish I would have noticed it 6 months ago as the last 2 payments went unnoticed as I wasn't looking at my credit card statement close enough. $4000 per year is rediculous. I guess that's how they get you to cancel when your dog is older.
