Trupanion is the best!
Trupanion is far and away the best pet insurance I have ever had. They pay 90% of claims, excluding only examinations. The have no schedule of benefits and do not exclude breed specific conditions, and they cover hip dysplasia. The claims process is amazing. Fax the itemized receipt along with a completed and signed Trupanion form; for additional related claims, fill out only two lines at the top of the form. Processing is often done the same day!. Checks arrive within 2 weeks. Trupanion rocks!

Came home from camp and needed to have the dog examined. Called the vet and they gave me an APPT. Took him up and sure enough he had hot spots on both sides of his neck. But as I was going to pay Amanda said to me "I know you have pet insurance so I can submit this bill for you and we will know in 10 min what your portion will be. I was so happy because I didn't know that you could do that right at the vets office and they pay the vets office directly leaving me to just pay the balance. I was thrilled. Thank you Trupanion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prompt and paid claims
Our experience has been great with Trupanion. Have had the insurance for one year. Our puppy had more than her share of issues and Trupanion was prompt and paid the claims that were due. Insurance being what is, you hope you never use it, but we got our value from the policy this year. The best part was they always reviewed the claim quickly and paid quickly when something was owed to us.
