Superb Customer Service
I filed a high-expense claim in Nov 2024 for my puppy illness. I became concerned when more than a month went by without payment. I called Pets Best customer service, and was helped by Linda. She looked up my claim, agreed that something wasn't right, and sent it to be reprocessed. I received the reprocessed claim within a day! Linda was understanding, receptive and personable. She explained the recent exponential growth of the company, and I completely understood this was a very challenging hurdle. Thank you Pets Best and Linda. I am happy to be your customer.

NOW I UNDERSTAND THE 1 STAR REVIEWS.
I was told that an invoice I sent for preventative care would take two to four weeks to process...for yearly checkup and shots. They have no problem debiting my credit card on time each month. I got this insurance in July and this is my first claim. DO BETTER.

Spot insurance is a fraud
Spot insurance is a fraud! Totally a waste of money! Processing time, even if you include all the correct documents takes up to 10 business days! They try not to pay for things that you are covered by and you have to fight with them about it and threaten to sue. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE.

Highly Recommend - 9 years and counting
I've had this insurance for 9 years - with one of my dogs needing multiple expensive surgeries. HP has never questioned a claim or tried to deny a claim that should be paid. Reimbursement is typically within days. Although rates go up as the pets age, they've never hiked up rates because of the number of claims I've submitted. Highly recommend
