Good experience
I recently got a puppy and signed up for the 30 day free trial to try Trupanion. Unfortunately I had to use the service as my puppy swallowed a small rock. They stepped up to the plate and paid a portion of the vet bill. I'll be checking into the insurance for long term vet care.

Pet Plus Us
I highly recommend Pet Plus US. I got it for my adult cat when I adopted him, hoping not to have to use it, and thankfully, that was the case for many years. However, my baby is aging now, and it's stressful enough to go to the vet and sometimes receive not-so-great news, not to mention the very high costs. Having Pet Plus US helps make this phase easier for me. The claims are approved fairly quickly, and my biggest shout-out goes to their customer team in Canada. I will never forget when I called in a super emotional state due to some sad news, and the agent (I believe his name was Tyler) guided me through the claim process. He genuinely took an interest in helping me, which is super rare nowadays, and he not only made my day better but also had a huge impact on making things easier for me and my cat. Thank you!
