With a new puppy, got Embrace Insurance early on and had never had Pet Insurance before. I was hesitant about difficulties submitting claims, but went online and found it to be easier than I expected.

Healthy paws is a rip off
I have had healthy paws insurance for my Australian Shepherd, who is now 11 1/2 years old. I have never made any major claims for my dog. This last year had a few small claims after the 250.00 deductible because she developed an allergy. I was just notified that my insurance is going up from $97 to $148 a month. That is an outrageous jump from the previous years increase. I am debating whether to keep this insurance because she is 12 years old. I think it’s a big rip off when pay for your insurance and you never use it and now that she might need it, they raise the rates. They also have a who cares attitude when you call to speak to them. I have another dog that I got after my Australian Shepherd. I went with a different company just because of the rude attitude when I called to get a quote they really don’t care. So disappointing.
