With our newest adoptees, beginning in 2019 we switched to using Embrace from another well-known pet insurance company that changed underwriters and became more difficult to process claims through. Embrace had the same coverage and similar pricing, but stood out for the excellent customer service. It could not be more clear what the exclusions are per pet, what they consider pre-existing for each pet, etc. I appreciate that there is no wondering what will or won't be covered! The refunds are very efficient, sometimes as quick as the same day!

Too hard to deal with now
You have become increasing more difficult to deal with. Not linking claims appropriately & trying not to cover things you should be. Making me waste time to call & sit on hold then to argue with someone. I will NOT be getting Trupanion again!!! We will be choosing another company for sure when we expand our fur family. Trupanion sucks.

My pooch develop bladder stones .they…
My pooch develop bladder stones .they were pushing up against her bladder and making urinating extremely uncomfortable. I thought this was a preexisting condition.. but it was not. My visits to the vet were expensive and I was so worried I would not be able to pay for improving her Health. Spot Pet insurance stepped up to the plate and was expedient in reimbursing me. My pooch is scheduled for surgery next eeek. I’m confident Pet Spot Pet will-assist me in the finances. You have no idea how grateful and thankful I am!!! Spot Insurance was expedient in reimbursing my needs… and it allows me to schedule her surgery in mush less time. Again truly grateful
