Easy and fast
Easy to file a claim. Clear explanation of benefits. Fast payment. My only constructive feedback would be using the issue/treatment drop-down menu. It’s tedious to try and find the correct option. For example: I can type in “S” for spay but it only takes me to treatments that start with the letter “s”. It doesn’t recognize letters after that. So I’m left having to scroll through all the S’s to find the right option. Sometimes it’s quick but others times it’s not. Overall, I still would recommend Pumpkin to all!

Scam insurance, very bad !!!
They say they cover one visit to the vet per year, some tests, and I was paying for this for three months and it didn't cover anything at all, even though my cat had several visits to the vet and I uploaded the documents and a few minutes later they canceled it and didn't cover anything. Then they said they would call me, but they never did. I called back and they told me it was being processed. Weeks went by and they never called. I ended up canceling because what I was really doing was giving away my money. Why pay for insurance if it doesn't cover what it says is included in the plan you pay for? It's just a scam. It only takes your money away. Money

This insurance works for my 3 dogs…
This insurance works for me payments are made quickly and deposited to my account or deductible. The only thing is I wish Pumpkin would apply some money to other vaccines dogs have to get because that would be even better. I've looked at other insurances and find that Pumpkin is the best coverage for my 3 pets a of now.

Incredible experience with pet plus us
I have to make over $7000 in claims this past year of multiple vet appointments and procedures. Pet plus us has been so easy to deal with to get our claims submitted and approved. Our dog has severe allergies that affect his ears quite severely and the treatment is extremely expensive. Pet plus us has helped us immensely with this condition and we are so thankful for their help and grateful we have insurance.

Pet insurance is so picky!
I thought I would like MetLife pet insurance more than my previous provider because MetLife covers prescription food and doesn’t have access to maximum that they cover for each diagnosis but they make it so hard to get a claim covered. I work for a vet so I know the system, provide SOAP notes and all invoices. Every time I submit I claim I get an email a few days later saying they are missing the Soap notes I already sent in, or my invoice from an online retailer (that my vet told me to order from) doesn’t show the pets name on the invoice. When contacting the retailer they tell me there is no way for them to put the pets name on the invoice. This is unacceptable, it should enough that my pets records say it was prescribed or recommended and then they receive an invoice for it. I do not start a claim until I know I have all the required documents and then I am still asked for more.

The process was much easier than previous experiences. Last year I had bills that I didn't submit because I dreaded the process. I was overwhelmed with illness in the family and could not not get my head around the forms. however, I find this insurance more expensive than others, The deductible is outrageous. Dr. Hoffman is fabulous.
