Love MetLife!
I currently have 5 standard poodles with MetLife Pet Insurance, and have had my policies for several years. I have been very happy with MetLife, and have had all of my claims paid for over the last several years. The length of time for reimbursement on illness claims has increased, but all have been settled within 30 days or less. My wellness claims are reimbursed within a week usually. I have had several different pet insurance policies over the last 12 years and MetLife is my favorite, so far.

great insurance that doesn't go up with age!
Its worth every penny, I have absolute peace of mind knowing that my dog is covered! He got a dental cleaning and his vaccines updated last year under Petsecure unlimited plan. And had over $5000 coverage for my 6.5 yr old dog that 80% was covered - including the exam fees and the fee for the referral we had to see in May 2024 for my dogs ongoing ear infection. Which quickly was resolved thanks to the specialist. All covered!!!

Schnoodle Care
They do a great job with my dogs. They keep is informed and provide good follow up care.
Healthy Paws is the best
I have 2 dogs about 4 years old who have been problems for some time now. Fred (a mixed breed rescue) tore his both ACL's and a meniscus and Wilma (a Labrador retriever) is prone to mast cell tumors. Both were able to receive the best care because of Healthy Paws. I also had my last dog Mr. Magoo insured through Healthy Paws and, even though he was a big dog (80 pounds), he lived comfortably until 14 years old since we were able to provide the best care for him.
Great Coverage, Especially for Multiple Dogs
Very happy with my MetLife Pet Insurance coverage. It is great that we can cover both dogs with a single plan that means we reach the deductible more quickly and can make the most of the benefits. I haven't had any issues with claims being denied even though one dog had to have some pretty serious surgery. Claim processing has been a bit slower than they said it would be, but overall, I've been pleased with their service.

Prudent Pet Insurance accepted my 18yo cat with a reasonable premium.
I was with Nationwide Pet Insurance for about 8 years before they increased my premium by 6x due to my cat turning 18yo. I searched around a lot. There aren't many pet insurance providers that will insure an 18yo cat, but Prudent Pet Insurance did! I found a plan w/ a reasonable premium and great coverage. My cat's health took a quick turn for the worse. I have spoken on the phone and emailed with Jenna and Delaney multiple times as they provided me with friendly and empathetic service. Claims were reviewed, settled, and paid quickly. I'm satisfied with my choice to go with Prudent Pet Insurance.

Pumpkin was wonderful to work with
One of our dogs had to have a major surgery this past year. Pumpkin was wonderful to work. They communicated well and always reimbursed me for covered medical expenses in a timely manner. I will always have Pumpkin Insurance for my pets.

Terrible when you need them.
Terrible when you need them. I was with them for 7 years, and they can cancel you without giving options, leaving you stranded when you need them most. They will say whatever you want to hear to sign you up—don't fall for it. Poor customer service; they don't care. You've been warned.
