ASPCA outranks previous pet insurance I’ve had by a landslide.
I’ve had VPI/Nationwide for 17 years with our llaso mix. It was always a hassle processing claims.....and then they wound up not covering legit claims. I support ASPCA during the year...so why not go with their name on the insurance. Our first claim with our new rescue was so sudden and lasted a week. The bills added up quickly. Finally we got our Genny better and I waited awhile to fax the claim. Within a few weeks, the covered claim was direct deposited into my checking account. Very satisfied.

Best and most honest insurance out…
Best and most honest insurance out there by far! I didn't have 1, but 2 huge claims of approximately $4000.00 each. I paid just one $500.00 deductible and they paid 90% of both bills. If it wasn't for Prudent Pet who also worked with the Hospital and paid the first amount almost immediately, then supplied an approval on an estimated second bill, Ace, my 10 month old Carne Corso would not be with us today. Thank God for Prudent Pet, they get double 5 stars or a perfect 10!!!!

Beware of "pre-existing" conditions!
Well, I haven't had the opportunity to embrace Embrace. They decided that, because my cat had had a tooth pulled many years ago, under a different pet insurance, that his dental is a pre-existing condition and they will not cover anything related to dental. IF I have his teeth cleaned (at my expense) the exclusion is removed, and then they will cover a broken tooth. However, they will not cover the broken tooth extraction during the teeth cleaning, so I would have to put my cat under anesthesia a second time for extraction. VERY disappointing.

pet insurance is definitely a good choice!
I decided to get pet insurance that covered both accidents, surgeries, and routine check-ups because my dog is in surgery as I write this to remove kidney stones. Of course, this kind of surgery is not cheap. Rocco is a 4-year-old Pekingese mix that may in the future need dental surgery (not known yet). He was one of a few dogs that came from China 2 years ago due to overcrowded shelters and we couldn't have made a better choice to adopt him. Basically, he is a lady's dog. It doesn't matter if it's a human or dog, if its female he's interested. I believe that's why he picked us because my daughter (his favorite human) is a pretty girl.

I signed up for a 30 trail thinking…
I signed up for a 30 trail thinking since my dog is a puppy it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have it just in case. The way they made this insurance sound was excellent. After a few weeks my puppy got sick. I called many times and I was under the impression that I was going to be covered that I only needed to meet my deductible. False !! They reviewed the claim and basically said I wasn’t enrolled and basically I’m not covered . They would not work with me they didn’t give me options to even try to fix this issue because of the confusion. I’m very disappointed and I can’t believe they treated me like this. I wish I can call the corporate office and complain!
