Great Health Care For Pets
We have had pet insurance through Nationwide for our dog since we brought her home at 3 months old and she will be turning 3 in May 2020. We have had a couple of medical issues with her dog related to digestion and it is comforting to know, we can give her the best medical care without worrying about the cost. After all our pet is a cherished member of the family and we want her to live a long healthy life with us.

Healthy Paws Simply Is The Best!
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for over 5 years now. We have had two cats and one dog (a Golden Retriever) insured. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this insurance company. We have had several MAJOR claims for our animals, and Healthy Paws has covered all of them with no questions asked. One of our cats was diagnosed with heart failure. She had numerous trips to the ER, long stays in specialty hospitals, and was on several very expensive medications. Her claims totaled over $10k, and Healthy Paws covered all of it (up to 80% per our policy). Having this insurance, and having the peace of mind to give her the care she needed, was amazing. Our dog, a Golden Retriever, tore both of his ACLs within the course of a year. Each surgery cost over $5k, and again, Healthy Paws covered both surgeries with no problem (80%, per our policy). There is no question that this insurance is WORTH IT. We don't have to worry if our pets have major issues; we know we will be able to provide them the care they need because of Healthy Paws. I also cannot say enough good things about their customer service. They are so responsive, so professional, and so caring. The claims process is very easy. You simply send a snap shot of your invoice, and within days, Healthy Paws deposits the money directly into your bank account. They send multiple emails updating you on the status of any claims, and they even send emails at the end asking how your pet is recovering. We have never had a problem with them approving claims. They are amazing. If you're debating about pet insurance, or wondering if it's cost-effective or "worth it" , I cannot attest that it is. It is worth it.

After losing our last two Great Danes under emergency circumstances, we decided to make the investment in Pet Insurance mainly for peace of mind. Nationwide has been VERY supportive and responsive with Tucker. As such, we had the confidence to add another rescue to our pack, Jupiter, and immediately expanded our policy. We are both very big proponents of PREVENTION therefore the Wellness coverage is a huge blessing. Our policy gives us the confidence to press our Vet for quality care to ensure we are minimizing the risk for more expensive and painful health issues in the future.
