Pet Health Insurance is Important

Pet insurance is just as important as health insurance for families. Health care is expensive and can create a tremendous financial burden. This is equally true with pets. We love our animals and we treat them like family members. We need some assurance that we will be able to provide the best care for our pets without worrying about the financial hardship it can create. The insurance gives us the peace of mind we need and eliminates this worry. Celine is a new member to our family and we can't imagine not having her around. We insure her to make sure she will always be well cared for and to make sure she stays healthy and happy. God forbid she gets sick or has an accident. With pet insurance, the burden of caring for her is diminished and we worry less about these unforeseen events.

Wish I had signed up the day I brought Mateo home

My new pup developed a serious skin condition within days after coming home. I had read about Embrace, but neglected to sign up right away. Big mistake. Multiple trips to vet, medication and other treatment -- all expensive -- would have been covered. Have since signed up and been pleased with service. Only two drawbacks: I found providing initial background information to be a bit of a hassle. And I didn't realize, initially, that claims needed to be submitted within 60 days of treatment. By the time i did figure that out, it was too late to submit some significant expenses. Advice to newcomers: read your policy carefully AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE IT.

Will NEVER be without it!!

After having lost one of our dogs, who we always consider one of the family, due to the fact that we could not perform multiple tests to determine what was wrong with her and had to put her to sleep...I will NEVER again be without pet insurance!! I feel horribly guilty to this day and it was five years ago. We have one of her puppies who is now a twelve and a half year old springer. A year and a half ago he had to have a squamos cell cancer removed from inside his lip and 16 treatments of radiation. Eight thousand dollar occurance!! We were able to do it because we paid each treatment by the week and Pets Best reimbursed us so quickly that we were able to keep up. Now he has a torn ACL in one knee and has been getting water therapy but will most probably end up with surgery because it won't heal on its own. Pets Best is extremely affordable, fair and timely. I can't recommend them more highly. I feel so strongly about them that I carry their pamphlets around in my glove box of my car so I can hand them out to others that so love their pet too. A MUST HAVE!!!!!

Excellent

I never thought the following words would pass my lips about an insurance company: they are wonderful. Our 8 month old lab mix puppy just had surgery for elbow dysplasia, and numerous X-rays and an MRI were needed in order to diagnose this. The total was more than 6000 dollars. Getting the money refunded was incredibly easy and hassle-free and I would recommend this insurance to anyone in a heartbeat. One thing, when you sign up you have a limited number of time to add hip dysplasia for a small fee each month. It seemed crazy to do this for a puppy but now we wish that we'd signed up for it (no problem getting the elbow dysplasia covered, though).

Peace of mind

Four claims in 1.5 years for my wonderful but orally fixated Golden. All claims paid (80/20 with $250 deductible) within a week or so of making the claim. Very simple process for submitting claims too. I pay $40/month, worth every penny. Quick turnaround on any customer service questions.

Love Pets Best

Pets Best is a wonderful company. They have a simple, speedy claim process and very reasonable premiums. My dog ws a 10 year old rescue when I enrolled her. She has had some health issues as older dogs do. My claims have been handled fairly and efficiently. I am entirely satisfied with Pets Best !

BE CAREFUL IN THIS SELECTION

I have had this insurance for years for 4 of my dogs. My dog was hospitalized 3 seperate times, they paid the 1st bill. When hospitalized the 2nd time they said I was at the maximum for the SAME incident and won't pay anymore. It is NOT the same incident! I am requesting them to look that it is NOT the same thing. Diag. procedure they are not paying either. I pay over $89 per month for 1 policy and this is what I get? I am currently looking into other insurance. My renewal is up with them shortly. My other pups are healthy - Close to $300 per month on insurance -- to have them do this?! I lost my sweet guy and I am crushed = Like I really need this hassle on top of my grief when clearly anyone WITHOUT a medical mind can see an MRI of the brain does not have a thing to do with pneumonia yet they are claiming the same incident - SERIOUSLY -- I can't believe years in the the Wellness Plan Coverage (premium cost) and they pull this. I would NOT recommend this to an enemy.
