Healthy Paws was super easy to work with. Very easy to file a claim and Healthy Paws paid quickly. They even checked back to see how my dog was doing after his rattlesnake bite!

two years of coverage and only positive results
I got insurance for four dogs almost 2 years ago. In that time we've used our insurance to cover regular wellness checks, heartworm medication, an accident that ran over one of my dogs and the most recent was dental on all four. It's super expensive but not once have I had any issues with my claims. I submit electronically, I'm notified they receive my claim, I'm notified with they are working on the claim and I'm notified with they have paid the claim and what benefits they've paid. Our home has no bones about this insurance and recommend them whenever someone asks.

Pet insurance for my new puppy.
I have a new puppy and was looking for a pet insurance to cover him in case of an accident. When I discussed what I wanted with an online representative from Pets Best Ins. she was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and put my mind to ease. This is by far the best coverage for my dog.

Quick turnaround and good coverage.
They are pretty quick with claim reimbursement and the direct deposit option is great. So far coverage has been good. The only downside is I wish they had an app for easier claim filing.

Comforting to know Trupanion has my back
I’ve had 6 pets covered by Trupanion over the past 10(?) years. I learned my lesson after spending thousands on both dogs and cats, particularly in their senior years. But, about 5 years ago, I also decided to add coverage for orthopedic issues. One of my current dogs was diagnosed 2 years ago with cancer at only 6 years old. I would never have been able to afford his chemo and radiation without Trupanion. And, as of 3 months ago, his checkup showed him to be cancer-free from a type that usually kills within a year. Trupanion promptly reimbursed me for every visit, including the follow-ups, except for one. And that was resolved with a few weeks of back-and-forth. That instance is the only reason ia marked down the “ease of claim” rating. Every time I have considered terminating coverage to save some money, a pet needs care and reinforces the decision to keep Trupanion coverage. It’s not cheap. But it has more than paid for itself over time.
