Great service, great rates and so HELPFUL
What can I say? Since becoming a cat owner by accident, falling in love with my cat only to have to put him down 2 years later was a heartbreak. It was on that sad day that my vet said "get insurance, get this insurance" and I made the call when I got my next cat, and my next cat. Since then I have been so impressed with the service quality and turn around times to claims. I have recommended your company to everyone I know who has a pet and I know I would never be without it again. It has made such a difference in my life and especially my two best friends, Miss Katie and Abbey. THANK YOU!

I recommend VetInsurance to EVERYONE!
I am an AHT in a veterinary referral practice and I can't recommend insurance enough! I get lots of great feedback from owners with Trupanion who are so happy they are able to do everything they can for their pets. I myself have two cats with Trupanion and recently had to make a claim for my 4 year old who was diagnosed with renal insufficiency. This is an on-going disease and he is quite young to already have medical issues. Let me tell you; even though I am working in the industry, it is SO nice to know I can provide my pets with all the best care they require without having to worry about costs. I truly can't recommend Trupanion enough!!!

Outstanding...such comfort knowing they are there
We have had our 3 cats insured since they adopted us about 3 years ago. We have had a couple of issues, one big emergency (accidental Tylenol ingestion) and one diagnosed with what will be a long term issue (Ideopathic Hypercalcemia). Vet Insurance (Trupanion) has been there for us. No issue about the number of claims made, or decision making due to cost of treatment. No questions asked, a 90% return of diagnostic treatment & prescription costs. With every claim I have submitted I receive notice of the status and very speedy return of the covered costs within a day or two. Customer service is top notch. Deciding to insure my 3 pets with Trupanion was one of the best cat care decisions I have ever made.

Pretty good for the most part
Our 1 year old Great Dane has been insured with Trupanion since she was about 6months old. In the last few months we've been trying to figure out what was wrong with her back (she was walking funny)... after xrays, an MRI, spinal fluid testing, and more we still had no definitive answers. We were able to get all these tests done though with the help of Trupanion and knowing they would cover 90% of our claims (excluding vet exam fees). It's been a lifesaver. And they always process our claims very quickly. The one thing that prevents me from giving them a higher rating is they do not cover holistic medicine and that seems to be the only thing that's helping her (even the neurologist said he had no clue what was wrong and a holistic vet may be the answer). Chiropractic and acupuncture have helped her walk better. I just wish Trupanion covered her visits.
