Glad to have ASPCA

"When we bought our Tibetan Terrier we immediately started searching for pet insurance and based on our research we chose ASPCA, and based on our experience so far this was the right decision. A couple of months ago our puppy caught kennel cough and struggled to recover from it, we had to make several trips to the vet and two rounds of antibiotics before she managed to recover. Submitting the claim was a streamless process, we did it all on line and the speed at which our claim was processed was great. We hope we do not have to use our insurance going forward as we want a healthy dog but it gives us great piece of mind to know that should we need to we can with ease, I would definitely recommend ASPCA to anyone"

Processing of Wellness Claims in 2010

I purchased pet insurance for two new Pomeranian dogs in 2010 (a 1.5 yr old male and a 2 month old male). Got both dogs neutered + had microchips implanted during the year plus wellness shots for the puppy. However, I delayed sending in the wellness claims until the end of the year and had overlooked the 60 day limit on normally submitting claims. I called the office before sending in the claims in December and was encouraged to submit everything even though some of the claims were over 8 months old. Embrace processed the claims very quickly and I did receive refunds for all the claims I submitted. The staff has been very professional over the phone and in sending me emails on the status of the claims as they were completed. I am a licensed insurance agent in California and would highly recommend Embrace for anyone wanting to get insurance for their pets.

Great return on my claim- fast and no problems

I just got the insurance in September and also added hip dysplasia to the coverage just in case. My dog started limping in November and I was able to get the necessary tests to diagnose his problem because I had pet insurance. It ends up the vet suspects he has hip dysplasia due to the tests and now I can treat it properly. Trupanion was so easy to work with and I got a check in 4 -5 weeks. The paperwork was easy also. I am very happy I chose Trupanion to be my pet insurance company. I did alot of research before choosing them and they seemed to be the best, but you are never quite sure until you have to submit a claim, now I am sure I picked the best company!

Friendly and Fast

I have had my dog insured through Embrace for two years and it has been wonderful to work with them. I have one of the most accident prone dogs around and Embrace has been friendly for me and my vet to deal with as well as prompt in their responses and reimbursements. I would recomend everyone to have such a helpful and responsible insurance for their pet!

Wellness Coverage

This is our first year on Wellness after several years on another company. Communication is great. Highly recommend getting the Wellness coverage. We have submitted for annual exams, flea and tic prevention and Heartworm prevention and they process and pay much faster than our old company. We have coverage on two Beagles and so far are very pleased. Have not had any illness claims.

First Claim completed successfully

I have been a customer at Embrace for about two years, insuring my two year old spaniel mix. We chose only to cover illness and accident, and luckily have not had to use it until our dog scratched his cornea in November. The reimbursement process was extremely straightforward and timely, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Superb response

We have had insurance with Embrace for 2 years now, and can say that the company is extremely prompt and efficient in processing claims. Good email communications and follow-up. Wellness insurance is a real bonus and I suggest that the company create a separate Wellness claim form. Highest recommendations.

A+ = reimbursement TAT, F - pre-existing

I was very pleased with the fact that it took 10 days from the office visit to the time I received a direct deposit for meds. What I am not happy with is the fact of how they treat "pre-conditions" We adopted our stray dog on 11/19/10, no medical history at all for him. Took him to his first vet visit and he had some problems. We purchased the insurance on 12/5/10....obviously couldn't get it BEFORE we adopted him.....See the emails below and my response.... #1. 12/23/10 Regarding your claim - "Recheck Ears" - with Claim Amount $66.00 for dates 12/20/2010 12:00 AM to 12/20/2010 12:00 AM "Hello Sharon, Thank you for faxing in Peanut's claim documentation, which we received today. When I reviewed Peanut's claim, I noticed that the vet visit for this claim occured in the 14 day waiting period for Peanut's coverage. Unfortunately, this means the claim you submitted is not covered by your policy. I am sorry this email does not bring you good news and I am disappointed that we could not provide benefits on this claim. I look forward to providing you and Peanut other benefits and services in the future. If you have any questions regarding your claim please do not hesitate to contact me.
