Good customer service for new customer

I recently enrolled my three pets (a dog & two cats) in Embrace Pet Insurance. I added the wellness option to cover yearly exams. The next month, I took my pets to the vet. Within two weeks of submitting the claim, I received payment for all three. Additionally, I would say that I have had several interactions with customer service by phone and through e-mail. The contacts have mostly been to either resolve my questions or to ask for more information about my pets. The customer service has been efficient and well organized.

My boys are Embraced!

This is by far the best pet insurance out there. Every question or concern has always been addressed within hours; claims are processed within days and I've never been frustrated by an explanation of benefits. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone who asks me about pet insurance.

A Definite Must for Your Pet

I decided to get pet insurance for my dog Daisy because with her being a mixed small breed dog (Yorkie/Maltese), I had heard that small dogs get sick a lot. Well my ASPCA insurance has helped me out tremendously. I have had it for a year and I can't count the amount of times I have filed claims. Daisy had to get spayed as well as getting a small tumor removed from her right paw. She has been in for her annual exams, shots and some unexpected visits as well and ASPCA has covered all of the items. I have been pleased with my experience with them. Customer Service has been super friendly.

Good coverage, efficient processing

Very satisfied with cost of plan, what was covered and amount that was reimbursed on my seven month old English Bulldog. My friend's recommended Pets Best because they were also pleased with the company.

Pets Best is a FRAUD!!!

I recently purchased insurance from Pets Best in July 2010 after I got the bill for my beloved "Clarisse" who passed away in May 2010. The total bill for her was $4600.00 dollars. I just wanted some peace of mind as I'm a multi cat owner. I researched various companies from your sight and others and I thought Pets Best offered what I needed. WAS I EVER WRONG!!! I submitted a claim for "Lucky" approx 10 days after the 14 day waiting period. Lucky developed urinary output complications. I took him to my vet and she performed an x ray and various other tests. He was put on a special diet for a month but to no avail. Lucky was then given an ultrasound and the stones were still present. He required surgery on September 8, 2010. I was informed my initial claim for the x rays etc; had been denied due to what Pets Best considerd a pre-existing condition! How can it be pre-existing if he showed no symptoms? If he had no medical issue's for the last 12 months, how can it be pre-existing? Wouldn't tumors and cancer be pre-existing? It was explained that the stones were pre-existing because it took "some time" for them to develop! I asked customer care what does some time mean? If Lucky had the symptoms later on this year, say in November, would it still be pre-existing? They couldn't answer! Now, I'm out another $2400.00 dollars! STAY AWAY FROM PETS BEST!!! All they want is your hard earned money!!! I have filed complaints with the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Department of Ba

Don't Reimburse for Examination/Consultation Fee

We insured our 9 week puppy for $34/mo. At 6 months our emergency room visit for an infection was $171. Trupanion claims they pay 90% of your costs, but they didn't pay for the Examination fee, ($85) [How weird is that!!] , so we were reimbursed $71. True, there is no deductible, but it is false advertising, in my opinion.

Well Worth The Money

I have had Hartville/PetsHealth insurace for about 3-4 years. I adopted Max, my minature poodle, from the animal shelter when he was 8 y.o. Max became ill the first week I adopted him and then again shortly thereafter, and I knew with a senior dog there would be additional medical problems but but since I fell in love with Max the moment I held him, I knew I would need and want to ensure he got the best medical care possible and I would need health insurance for him. I researched the other companies and felt Hartville would be our best option. Max has become sick several times and having health insurance has been a great help. Even with the quarterly premium, this insurance basically pays for itself when ofn the reimbursed for vet treatments. Max recently had surgery for the removal of a lump on his groin at the tune of $700. The insurance coverage was great and helped out so much with covering the cost surgery. I didn't have to worry about Max's surgery and how I was going to pay his vet bill. I would recommend health insurance for any pet parent regardless of the age of your dog.

Rudy's ulcer free Mom

I would really like to thank ASPCA for peace of mind. Just knowing that the insurance is there allows me to relax when I take Rudy to the vet. I no longer get ulcers & worry about a vet bill. I am also very thankfull it was there the day my poor kitten had an allergic reaction to his vaccines and had to go to the emergency vet at 11:00 At night. I knew the bill was going to be horrific but I also knew that a lot of it was going to be reinburssed. So thanks. Sincerely, Wendy Thomas A very satisfied customer.

Very good one,& affordable, from ups and down

My last 2 claims in June 2010 at petshealth had deliver their 80% return. I was thinking of changing but I notice they had a high return rate to the other insurances so I stay with them. I am so happy I did since my latest two claims in June I received a high return from them. So the comparison of insurances that I made where correct about Petshealth. They didn't fail me since when I stated with them they where excellent. So I stick by them since I know the economy wasn't doing well through the recession period. My eight year old cat Tabby had an anal clog which just has started this year. I had a great return from this. Also, she had surgery on her tail which the tenant upstair has cause. I was also very happy with that return. For, I have my health to take care of also now. I was saving this money by the way to cover a health insurance for a surgery. So it was a great help to have they returns I did. By the way, their plans are affordable and have different level of coverage.
