Massive Rate Hike
I've had a policy with Healthy Paws since 2016. I just received a notice that my premium is jumping 154.3% and I am facing a yearly increase of $4,589.16 in premiums. Buyer beware, they will jack your premiums out of nowhere (I'm not talking the expected annual increases, this increase is unreasonable) and you will NOT be able to get coverage from any other insurance company if you have any claims as they will all be deemed preexisting conditions. I paid into their policy for years and years and now they want to get rid of my dog.

don't use these folks
this company was great when I first started using them. now they are getting greedy and increasing my premium over 20% more than the year prior. when I try to sign up a new pet with this company the rate is the same as what I am currently paying. They are arbitrarily raising my premium with no cause. They have been extremely slow to reply when reaching out for additional explanations. Look elsewhere for a pet insurance company.

Excellent coverage
The sign up process was easy and the coverage was excellent with all the information available in summarized form. Pricing was competitive and one year of free telus health insurance was cherry on top. Just hope the claim process is easy as if ever needed, although reviews were positive from people.
