Handled with Care
I recently submitted claims that were unfortunately about the untimely passing of my beloved pet. In difficult times like that, the last thing I wanted to deal with was pushback or back and forth from an insurance company - luckily with Pets Best, everything was easy. I was able to quickly submit the claims, forward records, and receive my pay out all without having to get on the phone and haggle and explain details of a deeply tragic and sensitive topic. My claims were processed quickly, and they even took it upon themselves to reimburse and prorate my payment for the month that my beloved pet had passed without even having me ask. Attention to detail like that is such a welcome experience. I will be recommending Pets Best to everyone I know with a fur baby

I purchased my pet insurance in good faith. Submitted a claim that said I would receive my reimbursement within 5 days. It’s been over two weeks. I asked about it and was told they needed a medical history. All I took my pet in for was vaccinations that were needed. No medical history of illness just needed his shots to protect him. Still never received payment…

Disappointing claim service
They rejected a claim because they hadn't received past vet records, though we had sent them. I re-sent and they said they had received would review and expedite claim. That was 7 weeks ago, after I was told that now they did have the records. They just keep saying the same thing and do nothing. Very disappointing.

Poor first impression
After getting my puppy, he had some tummy troubles. Pets Best denied all related claims. Because he contracted this illness during the 14 day waiting period it was considered an existing condition. Doesn't matter that my policy effected date was the day I received him. I really regret going with Pets Best.
