Every family member needs health insurance

Our two year old Golden Retriever, Cara, suddenly became listless, lost her appetite, and ran a high fever while we were visiting relatives over a weekend. A recommended emergency veterinary hospital diagnosed pnumonia. She needed xrays, IV's, antibiotics, and round the clock care for three days before she was well enough to travel home with us. The bills were over $1,400. We felt so grateful that ASPCA Pet Insurance was in place to turn this stressful experience into something we could all easily put behind us. Sign your pet up now before illness or accident strikes.

Fantastic customer service!

Over the course of a few months our puppy had a couple of minor illnesses (ear infection, diarrhea), & then she broke her toe, and had an allergic reaction to a bee sting. I first submitted a claim for the broken toe, & Healthy Paws recommended I submit claims for the previous illnesses. Healthy Paws has been fantastic. I received emails confirming each claim the same day they were sent in, and received another email when the claim was processed and the check was on its way. In all, I think we had 5 or 6 claims over a couple of months, and we received reimbursement checks less than 1 week after submitting each claim. And the customer service has been wonderful - warm, caring, and considerate.

Quick, Easy and Reliable

We have had three surgeries with two animals since April 2011. One of our dogs does not have insurance. We were definitely pleased because we did not anticipate all the medical problems that has risen since we saved these dogs last year. This was our second claim for ACL rupture and it was simple and easy to file with. After about 7 to 10 days we received our checks and she is doing fine now. Thanks for everything. A+++++

I wish my own insurance was this good!

What can I say? Embrace pays your claims on time, without any hassle. I have had several claims throughout the years, and I've never had an issue. They even contacted me to see if I had received the check...who does that? Thank you for making it easy.

The best coverage and care for pets!

I recently switched to Embrace from VPI. Best decision i ever made. Embrace has the best customer service and better coverage for my dogs than VPI. My puppy was recently diagnosed with Hip dysplasia. She needed a Triple Pelvic Osteotomy on both sides and Embrace was there for me. They covered this for my puppy and I don't know what I would of done without Embrace covering her. If I was with VPI, it would not have been covered. Keep up the great work Embrace!

Fast and Reliable Service

After reviewing all the pet insurance options out there, I felt that Healthy Paws had the best prices and coverage. Not long after getting Healthy Paws to cover my 2 young German Shephards, I had to use it. Both my dogs weigh about 100 lbs and play rough, which has led to multiple sprains. The X-ray costs are not cheap and I was bringing my dogs in practically every other month with a sprain or injury. The reimbursement came in very quickly. I also was amazed that after my vet sent them their records the very first time, I got an email the same day stating they received the records and wished my dogs were ok. I like how they keep you in the loop on the reimbursement process and follow up with a personal friendly phone call.

Pets Best insurance has been fantastic

Pets Best insurance has been fantastic. I have the sick and well care. They pay for well care as expected and the sick care has been a very positive experience. They have paid all of the bills for a complicated eye infection. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Trupanion-coverage concern

So far I've had one or two minimal claims, and I mean under $50--my terrier is over 2 now, but has enjoyed perfect health. His breeder has urged me not to immunize him any further until he is 7, as they can encounter complications and his immune system is likely to be damaged by being injected with disease. My sister's Sammy got kennel cough even after being immunized--the booster does not protect against all viral forms of kennel cough. I'm afraid if I don't immunize, and he gets something like kennel cough, Trupanion will not help. Do they even test which strain a dog gets? Could we even know if was s strain covered by the booster? I keep him out of dog parks now & I groom him myself. But I do not want to set him up for illness by making him sick from his shots. I read the veterinary industry is reviewing their immunization schedule because of health concerns. Any thoughts?
