Embrace has been very fair and responsive.

I have friends and colleagues who have used other pet insurers and have cancelled policies because the insurance did not cover enough issues and/or did not reimburse claims the owners thought should be covered under the policy. Or because it was just too difficult to deal with the insurers. I've had no such issues with Embrace. I work in the pet field and recommend Embrace to my clients.

Healthy Paws is Simply the Best!

Got insurance for our two lab puppies - just over 2 weeks after we got it, our puppy had an injury that required multiple x-rays, blood draws, IV & fluids, and 2 overnight stays, totaling over $1,300. Healthy Paws paid 90% of that! And, quickly, too. We submitted the claim and even though it was a first-time claim and they had to review all of the records, we had a check 7 business days later AND 2 special calls and emails to update us on the status and inquire about our puppy's healing. These people aren't just a business - they truly love animals! Best insurance decision we ever made!!

Trupanion-outstanding

So far, so good. My 13 year old cat is having some serious bowel issues, and thus far, the bills have totaled close to 3,000 for very expensive tests (rare and sophisticared blood tests/colonoscopy/endoscopy) etc. Trupanion has covered everything they said they would. Because I insure 5 cats with them, I opted for a 250 deductible per incident per cat to keep the premiums lower. As their policy states, after the 250 deductible in my case, 90% of everything has been covered. What a relief, I don't know what I would do without this insurance. The cat is still having issues, and I don't know what else will come out of it, but I have peace of mind knowing I can get her the help she needs without fretting over the money part of it.

Bruno

I think that Aspca Pet Insurance is a good thing to have. It helps with costly vet bills and gives you a peace of mind to know that you animal has coverage that will help with the bill so that they can stay healthy. Bruno is a grey pit bull very loving has been scrathing his ears which led to a broken blood vessel. (no ear infection) allergies? a tube was placed in his ear so that it could drain which took a week but overall everything turned out great. ASPCA helped out tremendously.

Trupanion provides courteous and efficient serivce

My four year old English Springer Spaniel developed a limp about one year ago. After several appointments with her regular veterinarian, I took her to a specialist. The specialish recommended arthroscopic surgery on her right front elbow-cost about $2,500. Trupanion covered alost all of the costs associated with the surgery and follow-up care. Trupanion has allowed me to seek the best possible care for my campanion, Penny Jo.

Better than my last pet insurance

I am happy with this insurance because once the deductible is met 80% of my bill is paid by the pet insurance. With my last insurance for my last dog they had a set amount on every ailment and it never came close to 80%. In the end that insurance was not worth it.

After 5 years, no regrets!

We've had Zuzu, our 6-year old Dachshund, insured with Embrace for over 5 years now. Luckily for her, and us, we've only had one health crisis with her requiring surgery. She has been healthy and thriving ever since. We continue to have Zuzu routinely seen by the vet for wellness checkups and routine vaccinations. The great thing about our Embrace insurance policy is that we have an annual allowance of 200$ towards wellness checkups and vaccinations. This is not only helpful to our bank account, who doesn't want to save money? But, it's a great comfort knowing that Embrace cares enough about pets that their policies encourage pet-companions to keep up with routine vet visits and health maintenance care. As always, the friendly, prompt, courteous service by Embrace's claim-handling department personnel is a pleasure to deal with. It's nice that they care enough to ask after Zuzu and send us helpful tips, stories, and other valuable pet information on a somewhat regular basis. If you're not already insuring your pets with Embrace, what are you waiting for? I promise you won't regret it.

Horrible actuaries! Year-over-year 40%+ increases

Have three year old dog. Rate has increased 100% since summer of 2009. Don't buy pet insurance until your dog is 5 or 6. Once you buy, you can't stop or you will NEVER get anything covered later. They used to cover vet prescribed Cosequin for dog with pano, but now they labeled it "supplements" and won't cover. Used to be really happy and recommended to everyone. Not anymore
