Hard work getting my claim accepted

I have to say that service and payment were very promt once mty claim had been received. Getting the claim received was very hard work. It was faxed in at least 4 times and never received (to various numbers following phone conversations). I finally scanned all documents and emailed them in - still not received. I phoned to ensure claim was in motion but was told it wasn't there. I then emailed again while consultant stayed on the line. Success at last. It took about a month to get all this sorted out. Clearly something is wrong in the way claimes are received.

Best Decision We Ever Made

Best Best is fantastic. We compared all the other pet insurance companies before signing up with Pets Best. We purchased the insurance when we first brought our little girl home. We have Best Wellness, so it encouraged us to get her 6th month check-ups and regular maintenance. That in and of itself is a reason to have it...but as with any insurance, one hopes, and often thinks, it will never really be needed. When Summer was only 2 she very sick, likely from the tremendous heat. Pest Best was there, and we were able to get her well..we did not have to worry like most people we saw at the Vet ER. Having to make the most difficult decision, because they could not afford t pay for treatment. Then two years ago, we found Summer sick again---she has Immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA), treatment is VERY expensive, and on going. Pets Best has been great, even reimbursing our vet so our out of pocket is very small. We are at the end of our coverage as our limit was $7000, but I am thankful that they have been there for this. We could not have done this without Pets Best. Thank you!!

PetsBest is great!

I have been a policy holder at PetsBest for about 5 years. I have had three dogs covered and have never had a problem. I love the new direct deposit option for the reimbursements. Good company!

Outstanding Service

Recently, my pet was ill and it required a lot of tests and expense to try and determine the problem. Trupanion reviewed and processed my claim very quickly and covered all expenses outlined in the policy. Thank you Trupanion!

Absolutely the BEST!

I am the epitome of a satisfied customer! My dog, Larry, needed his teeth cleaned and two teeth extracted. The dental rewards program that Embrace offers is great! My reimbursement was sent right out! During my dogs cleaning, an oral mass was found. Though it took a bit longer to be settled, once my veterinarian was able to send Embrace the proper documentation, that portion of my claim was settled and the proper reimbursement sent out. The customer service at Embrace is second to none! I am thrilled with my choice to utilize this company for Larry's insurance needs!

Very helpful staff

I really appreciate how much time and effort goes into answering any questions I may have about my pet, Sara's, coverage in a timely manner. She is so dear to us and we want nothing but the best for her.

I was very impressed.

I submitted all relevant papers according to a claim and I didn't have to go through a bunch of red tape. ASPCA came through for me during a very frustrating time when my dog was going through difficult times.

Scam Artists

My dog was very sick and vomitting constantly. I took her to the vet and he did x-rays on her and noticed she ingested a metal staple. This occured on December 26, 2011. The vet didn't want to immediately do surgery on the dog (which would cost over $2,000) so he instructed me to give her plenty of bread and milk to hopefully surround the staple and make it pass through her safely. We need to go back for a follow up visit on January 3, 2012 to make sure the foreign body passed through. He did an x-ray and thankfully the staple passed through. No surgery needed. NOW here we go.... ASPCA covered 80% of "allowable" costs for the visit in December. But ZERO for the visit in January because it was a pre-existing condition. What was I supposed to do - put the dog in surgery right away so it won't be a pre-existing condition in 6 days?? It was a follow up vist and cost me $700 and I got zero reimbursed. Needless to say I cancelled my policy and went to Pet Plan Insurance. Sneaky sneaky sneaky.
