Very quick and efficient
My cat had what's called "entropion" (her eyelashes were growing in instead of out scratching her cornea) which required surgery to both eyes at the cost of 1,300+. I faxed a claim and within 1-2 business days I received an email saying the claim was received and some seven days later I received the reimbursement. I have nothing but good things to say about Embrace in the six or so years I've been with them and the claims I've filed for three cats. No run around and no delays, always got the check within two weeks. Just like they tell you.

My cat was very ill and not eating or voiding much at all. I took him to the vet and he had blood work, x-rays, subcutaneous fluids, shots for nausea and urine tests. It turned out he had cystitis. I really appeciate my pet insurance company because they have always been quick to process claims. This really helps when you have an ill pets that needed multiples tests to find out what is wrong.

saved money with insurance
When my dog needed surgery I was able to recoup my premium and deductible, however the rate for reasonable charges is way under what the vet and hospital both charge. Many items (fluids for a dehydrated pet) are not even covered. Better than nothing. It sure would be great to know ahead of time what is going to be covered, what is not, and what is the customary charge - that would go a long way to preventing sticker shock.
