Issues for Rescue Owners
I hate leaving poor reviews but I want others to know the issue we have faced with our rescue. Our claim was denied because they didn’t have enough medical history. We explained that our 3 year old Mastiff was a rescue and we don’t have any history besides her spay. I sent those records and explained twice that her name has changed since being rescued. We are attempting to reopen the claim for our very healthy pup and are waiting to see what happened. It’s been a headache and with Covid-19 I’m sure it will take even longer to receive a response (which I’m understanding of) we shall see.

I called AKC and spoke with Michaela. She was, no doubt, what I had been waiting for! She was amazing. I asked her to advise me on the best options for a breed that is known for some possible issues. She knew her stuff, and walked me through the process with clarity, and a sense of humor. She mentioned things I hadn’t thought of but should have since I had owned Bouviers in the past.
