TERRIBLE!

I have two great danes and switched to Embrace because of the wonderful reviews and raves about great customer service. I submitted a claim and got emails for several weeks saying it was in line to be dealt with, they were behind. When they did review it, the claim was denied for reasons that I had specifically asked about being covered when i called to get more information. I was told something would be covered and of course it wasn't. Had i not switched to embrace, I at least would have got something back from my old insurance company. I am terribly disappointed with this company.

Healthy Paws Really Cares and Fast Service As Well

We've been using Healthy Paws for a little over a year and a half and the first year, thankfully, we did not meet our deductible and therefore didn't really 'need' Healthy Paws. This year, however, our dog had a an eye issue (she's fine and it went towards paying our deductible) and more recently a GI issue requiring an overnight with IV fluids, x-rays, meds, etc and we received our claim check within a couple of days. The claim process is easy, clear to understand, and fast. We keep a blank claim form on file at the vet and they handle everything with Healthy Paws. We also really like the personal connection with Healthy Paws - we can talk to real people easily and they even reach out to us after submitting a claim to see how our dog is recovering.

Love these folks!

I have 5 dogs and 3 cats -- the dogs are covered, the cats aren't. This month, I had a new dog who needed spay and other services. I also had a cat with an infection. The cat ended up costing nearly $600, which is all out of pocket. The dog cost just over $300, of which I will get back $200. I faxed the claim yesterday and just was notified that the claim has been processed and my reimbursement will be on its way to my checking account.:) Maybe it's time to cover the cats.

Beware of the Increase After Only One Year

We have paid for our Trupanion insurance for one year on our two puppies who are staggered in age. As soon as the first puppy turned one-year-of age, Trupanion raised the premium on one puppy from $42 per month to $54 per month. I assume the second puppy will receive an increase in a couple months which will cost $104 ($50 deductible)per month for puppies only one-year of age. I am unsure that this is worth the long term commitment of $1,248 per year for ten years down the road when dogs will need the insurance. We had a claim when our puppy was stung by an insect and had a swollen nose. Apparently that drove our $84 per month payment to become not enough for Trupanion...but it was enough for me.

The Rolls-Royce of Pet Insurance

I've been with Embrace for over 2 years and tell every pet owner I know how great they are. We've had a few medical scares but nothing serious yet. It's comforting to know if something serious does happen we're covered. I've had Embrace's wellness coverage since day 1 and it's awesome. It's forced me to become a better pet parent and I've saved money every year on routine care. I would suggest anybody looking for a company to call Embrace and you'll know right away how great they're service is.
