Amazing Customer Service
Everyone I have dealt with at Embrace has been incredible. My only problem would be the amount of time it has taken to get my claims to go through. I haven't yet met the deductible, so it's not a money concern. It's just odd to have these hanging in limbo when one of the benefits they tout is quick claim turnaround. That aside, I'm totally happy with this insurance. It's reasonably priced and gives me peace of mind. I've had terrible, expensive illnesses strike my pets in the past and paying out of pocket is NO FUN! And like I said above, the customer service has been incredible!

Amazing Customer Service!
Shortly after rescuing Barry I did research on pet insurance. I found Healthy Paws to have the most flexible, comprehensive plan for the cost. (Even less expensive than the plan available through my employment with a discount!) Unfortunately we had to use the insurance when Barry received a bite wound from another dog. I submitted his paperwork, immediately recieve an email telling what additional paperwork was needed. The same day I submitted the additional paperwork (just a copy of his medical records) I received an email that my claim was processed and details of what the reimbursement would be. The amount was what I expected - yay no surprises! and the check arrived within a week.And to top off the already great experience I received a 'personalized' email inquiring as to Barry's recovery! I can't say enough in this day of lack of customer service about a complany that goes above and beyond! Thank you Healthy Paws for caring (almost :) as much about my baby boy as I do!

We've had pet insurance through Petshealth Car Plan for over 10 years now. The customer service has been a big help - especially when we have submitted some rather large claims in the past. They have also come quite a long way in terms of claims processing turn-around time. I have recommended their plan many times to friends and collies (I mean colleagues!).

Very pleased with pet insurance
Look, no one wants to buy insurance. I know. I sell it. But when you need it, when that emergency arises, you're darn glad you spent the money. It doesn't need to be expensive either and with Embrace, it's cost effective and I feel safe knowing my 140# puppy will be well-taken care of if the need arises. If she never gets sick or involved in an accident, I feel like I can count on Embrace. I'm happy I signed up nearly two years ago.

Embrace handles my claims efficiently and compassionately without having to go over and over the grizzly details of what happened to my mini-man. They have a wonderful relationship with The Gene Poole Cat Clinic and communicate clearly and concisely what pertinent information that is required. I so appreciate their professionalism on both ends. The bottom line is, the love of my life, is re-cooperating nicely, and I couldn't have done it without the help of Embrace Pet Insurance. This is my second claim, and they've always reimbursed me within weeks of the incident. I give them a 10!!!

Trupanion has been awesome!
Our dog suddenly started having seizures in the middle of the night and we had to rush him to the ER. We hadn't really thought about our insurance, but just knew that we paid the monthly premium. After an overnight at the ER and $1500 later we still had no answers, but our dog was referred to a neurologist. We then proceeded with a specialist appt, follow-up to our vet, an MRI, a spinal tap, blood tests + 2 more overnight trips to the ER and medications meant for epileptic patients, all within a month. Luckily, we are closer to a diagnosis and are now treating him as an epileptic. Without our insurance we would not have been able to afford all of these tests and would be moreso in the dark. I have spoken with Trupanion on the phone several times and they have always been friendly and helpful. We were able to send in the claim forms right away and received payment very quickly. For example, I faxed in one form on a Friday afternoon and received a cheque on Wednesday of the next week. And the best part - no limits per claim! My ONLY complaint is that I wish that part of the exam fees were covered as they tend to add up after awhile!

My dog had eaten a lot of macadamia nuts and could not keep anything down. I took him to the vet on Wednesday and they wanted to monitor him overnight with IVs. I picked him up late on Thursday. At that time I gave the vet my claim form for them to fax to Healthy Paws with the medical records. By Friday afternoon, I already had received the Explanation of Benefits from Health Paws and I received the check on Tuesday. It probably would have been there on Monday but it was a holiday so no mail delivery. I cannot believe how fast the reimbursement process was - check in hand within 5 days of leaving the vet's office.
